More Turkey Hunting--No Turkeys

Turkey Hunting

This is up Bates Canyon by our house. It has some great trails and is very beautiful.

Walk softly and carry a big gun.

I guess it isn't too cold for butterflies.

Kerry has been taking Lance Turkey Hunting for the past week. Luckily they have one more week to get it done. They have called in a few Turkeys but haven't had any close shots.
They hike about 10 to 15 miles every time they go. So maybe we should call it hiking not hunting.


Lance had to get his Hunters Ed License so he could go. He studied his book every night. When he took the test he scored 100%. I love his motivation when he wants something.


You have to get up early with the birds. Then wait for your dad to get ready. Side note -- those are Lance's boots.

In the last year Lance has really changed a lot. He is very interested in skateboarding, basketball, riding his bike more and girls. He has gotten very social and is having tons of fun with his friends.

He said to me mom I can't believe you took that picture. When did I become so Lame? That probably isn't even a word they use now.

Easter Egg Coloring

This was a great kit. The kids had fun, but it isn't the big deal it used to be. They are starting to outgrow it. I wonder how many years left we have before they won't care?

March 2010, Lance is 11 years old almost 12 years old.

December 2002, Lance is 4 years old here. Time goes by way to fast.

My Mom and Dad, they were so great with the kids. My mom was a trooper too, she needs both knees replaced. She had to have been in such pain, but she had fun and never complained.

I love the canal boat ride with all the miniature landscaping and houses.

This tree is at the end of Splash Mountain. We took our ponchos and road that ride like 3xs in a row.

Notice in Lance's hand he has a Hidden Mickey Book. We looked for those darned Hidden Mickey's everywhere. It was actually very fun and helped me to notice so many other things too.

I love all of the flowerbeds and landscaping at Disney.

These kids were so well behaved and fun to be around.

Screamin' the best ride ever I don't know why she looks scared--she's the one who puts her arms up. I would never do that.

Vegas!!!
