Lucas

Lucas had a ball with Mrs. England.

This month Lucas received the Presidential Physical Fitness Award and The Superintendents Award for High Honor Roll all year. He participated and did well in the 3rd Grade Spelling Bee.

Jessica

Jessica is sad to be leaving 4th Grade. She really enjoyed this year and loved her teacher to pieces.

Club 100 on May 9th from Principal Young: I appreciate all your positive, kind energy at school. You treat others the right way and help your classmates make better choices. I am very proud of you.

Club 100 on May 16th from Mrs. Takos: Jessica is the most positive student I know. She has made our classroom so much better with her insight on classroom discussions, her helpfulness to others and her kindness.

She also received the Citizenship Award for the whole year and the Presidential Physical Fitness Award.

Disneyland May 2nd to May 6th

The Tower of Terror

Lucas had to get a hat with his name on it.

They had a lot of new things in the works at California Adventure. The Cars, Little Mermaid and Goofy's Sky School. They are trying to give it less of a California feel and more of a Disney Characters feel.

Instead of Mickey Walt could have gone with this little guy Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. I think he didn't because it was taken by a studio Walt worked with when doing the Oswald Cartoon.

They were setting up for the premiere of Pirates of the Carribean.

Lance has grown so much this year he even skipped a whole size at one point.

We love Mickey's House.

Disney's World of Color in California Adventure. It was really an amazing show. Obviously pictures don't do it justice. It was all choreographed to phenomenal music. They play pictures on mist of water. They have fountains spraying this way and that. It was really beautiful.

Waiting for the World of Color. While we were waiting Jes and Lucas made friends with a girl Jessie's age from Alaska.

Now we know why Disneyland is magical...it's in the water.

This is at the end of Toy Story Mania....it is Andy's house.

They had a cool show with pictures displayed on the building. The technology and how it all came together was mind blowing.

On the Disney Channel they have little segments about their shows etc. They were filming one about Lemonade Mouth. The kids like Bridget Mendler from Good Luck Charlie. They had fun seeing her up close.
