James and Julie Got Married

James is our nephew on Kerry's side. He and Julie got married in Millcreek Canyon by a really pretty waterfall. James' Dad Kelly married them. He did a beautiful job. His service made everyone teary eyed.

Water Lillies

1 1/2 Months ago I made Kerry get rid of the Bluegill out of the pond, because they were eating all of our plants. The kids had fun fishing. It was a little weird.

Sooo Sad!!!!

Now the Water Lillies are thriving. They seem to get bigger every day.

Kaman BBQ

We went to Wasatch Mountain State Park. Some people go golfing and then they have a BBQ that the spouses are invited to every year. This is just a few of the people that we are friends with.

Twilight Cake

Twilight Cake for my neice Ashley's Birthday. It was a lot of fun figuring out how to get each element from the book covers to work out and pull it all together.

Art Show

Jessica's art really surprised me. She hasn't really been bringing art home from class. They have been saving most things from the show. I was very impressed with what she has produced and learned. Michelle Williams is her teacher. She has done a fabulous job. She is very organized and Jessica loves her.

Kerry's Week Off

On Monday we went to Tracy Aviary and Liberty Park. Wednesday we went to Deseret Peak and went swimming. Thursday we went to the Liehman Caves. Friday we went to see a dollar movie with the kids--Race to Witch Mountain. Saturday Kerry and I went by ourselves and saw Star Trek. It was a fun week. It was nice to spend time all together.

Camping at Sheep Creek

I loved the 4 wheeling. It was a really pretty trail.

We went camping this weekend. It rained a few times, but it didn't really affect the fun. We had such a blast. We did Dutch Oven Cooking, S'mores, 4 Wheeling, and Shooting. It is always good to getaway somewhere fun with the kids. They all played so well and had tons of fun.

Taylor Swift Concert

We went with Suzanne and Rory to the Taylor Swift Concert at the Delta Center. Before the concert we all went to dinner at Red Rock, it was pretty good. We had a blast at the concert. It was so fun. We always have so much fun with Suzanne and Rory. They are always so upbeat and their sense of humor it great. Our seats ended up being better than we thought. Taylor put on a pretty good show.

Awards

This year was a good one. Lance got a certificate for 5/6 areas on the Iowa Test in the top 10% of the nation. He received a certificate for being on the Honor Roll for all 4 terms. He was the district winner for the 5th grade essay contest on the Golden Rule and how it applies to Patriotism. Lucas received the certificate the First Graders get for reading over 100 books for the set amount of time they worked on it. He read around 225. Jessica received the Math, Spelling and Star Student Awards. Jessica started out having a hard time in math this year. She worked really hard to get where she is now. I am really proud of her as I am all of my children.
